In 2002, Chreso started providing Voluntary Counseling and Testing for HIV (VCT). VCT at GO CENTRE has been very successful especially when one considers the location, being surrounded by low cost highly populated residential areas (Kalingalinga, Mtendere) and High cost residential areas (Hellen kaunda, Kabulonga, Roadspark, Long acres) and University of Zambia on one side. The fact that the VCT center is situated at a premises that houses one of the biggest churches in Zambia has proven to be a plus because this adversities itself. Outreach programmes in Schools, prisons and public fora intensified as well. We have peer educators going with the mobile VCT and some go within the catchment area of GO CENTRE
