The media is usually a window of measure where one can easily tell how much understanding a particular society has on a particular problem or subject. Using this window, Chreso Ministries was able to discover that not much has been done to promote pediatric VCT/CTC in the country despite having children that are in need of VCT, treatment and care. And survey conducted by Chreso Ministries in 10 government clinic in Lusaka (LDHMT clinic) revealed that there more children on ART and care outside the prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT) program suggesting that there are more children infected with HIV..

Among the first responses was to highlight the problem to the media resulting in an immediate increase of media coverage. The other responses included conducting surveys on the subject to ascertain the problem and help develop a web of information through training and awareness programs. The wed to be created to empower organization pediatric VCT awareness skill will help increase awareness levels of child VCT programs in turn increasing number of children accessing VCT. This project is aimed at addressing the social neglegence of society to children born outside the PMTCT program. This web will be used to spread right messages on pediatric VCT/CTC empowering campaign groups and communities. It will also create self awareness of institutions and parents raising concern and interest.

We hope that the above measures will help achieve the goals of this campaign, in turn benefiting the children. The institution is ready to work with any partner that values the rights of a child. Pediatric VCT/CTC is a health right to every child and everyone must be a player to achieve best result.
